They're going about things too quickly because of $$$. The league will have a bunch of bottom-feeder teams for years because of this.

Yeah, and those draft picks who can't make the roster will be largely bad. There will be a diamond in the rough here and there, but overall, the teams will be terrible.
Also, an expansion team being bad for years will not incentivize a growing fanbase.
