Because if she would have tried to build a program like she did at SC, they wouldn’t have gave her money, they wouldn’t have given her facilities, and they damn sure would have fired her after a record of 42-48 after 3 seasons. It took 7 years to get to a Final Four, 10 years to get a title. They weren’t waiting that long.

Why leave people who invested in you and believed in you? Gave you everything you asked for. They obviously don’t care about her off the court life, they keep electing Lindsey Graham as a Senator. I mean, they went out and hired an unproven Tina Thompson over backing up the truck for Dawn.

The real question is why if Tennessee fired Kellie Harper, they didn’t offer it to Kara Lawson?

South Carolina is her program now. Arguably the best coach to ever step foot in Columbia period at USC.

Why would she go there and have to fight Edwards, Kitts, Watkins and the Euro PAWG for mins when she can go to LSU, get a bag, and start right away

I actually think LSU is a final 4 team next yr regardless

The boosters don’t care. The athletic program doesn’t care. They want wins but not at the expense of football. This is the new landscape.

They let their baseball coach go to Miss State because they don’t care. They pulled the rug, told him to do more with less, and if he didn’t like it he could leave.

Tony Bennett “retired” because they wouldn’t give him the money to be a consistent national contender but expected the same success as the pre-NIL era.

Man, I don’t know. It’s only $2 million to get her out of there, but also you make that job toxic by getting rid of two coaches in a row who you say isn’t living up to the standards of Tennessee basketball for less than 1 million a year.

Especially for one that came in, put 4* and 5* on notice, packed out the roster with transfers, not one star to replace Rickea, played a gimmick system for a season, chased almost all the players she didn’t recruit out the program and then this year underwhelmed and lost the team?

Who is going to go coach that program with that craziness? Where the demands are Final Four or bust when you have at minimum 4 programs in your conference consistently ahead of you. Just follow everything to football or men’s basketball. AD gets hired, brings Heupel with him, Rick Barnes has done enough to stick around, baseball coach left in a huff and took a major league job after rebuffing them post-national championship. They won’t get a big name.

Sophomore at the high school by me Sandy Creek high (Calvin Johnson and Jabari Smith high school alma mater). She's a BEAST. My youngest son in 8th grade is friends with her little sister in the same grade at the middle school across the street from Sandy. Know Morghan's mom pretty well as she's the principal at the middle school and my son stays with the fukkery so we've come to know Dr Reckley for the wrong reasons.


Anyway, Yeah Geno can keep that bullshyt apology. Pickup the phone and apologize directly to Dawn then nationally for embarrassing not only UConn but yourself and took away from Dawn's team victory cause you mad. Hope Dawn wins tonight and gets number 4!

Last year if felt like they would sub the whole lineup every 2 mins.
