Funk could actually work but spent most of the 80's and 90's as a brawler which prolonged his career as he got old, ur right in that regard and he was smart for that.
Those HBK matches are why cats are so hard on Taker now, he really needs someone like that who he can just kinda throw around aggressively and have them take most of the bumps (one of the main reasons i've been anti him vs a 55 year old Sting) he can't work with Lesnar styled monsters who can make him sell on the run like he did in his prime anymore
