I remember when all this stuff dropped and all the hype…I still have my Protect Ya Neck single with the cover and my OG cassette copy of the album…I been meaning to throw them out…but after watching this I ain’t NEVER getting rid of that stuff

i love this show

His personal biography that came out a few years ago is low key a legendary hip hop book.

It gives you everything about Wu tang…way more than the show explains…if you haven’t read it and you like this show…it’s a must read

I don’t mind that shyt. I’m not one of those guys who doesn’t think it’s cool for men to be friends and love each other we’re grown here. Also, not for nothing, but wu openly acknowledge on record and in interviews how much they love each other. And tell each other on the regular

Rae and ghost are clearly tighter than tight. I should see how that relationship goes from acrimonious and hateful to genuine affection for each other.

I think I'd normally agree with this sentiment but in this case white validation is what got the show greenlit and what will allow it to keep being made.

I'll just say this. On season one, I was too preoccupied on what's true, false or embellished. This season, I just don't care, just enjoying it for the sake of its brilliance of their storytelling. I think an audience who's unaware of the history of the Wu would've truly enjoyed this season.

and thats a problem with a lot more than this show. you got comic heads complaining about the source material or comparing to the book and etc... I learned to a long time ago to let my mind be free and enjoy the show for what it is

The character development for ghost is intriguing. Who would’ve thought he was timid? These guys are great actors, they really capture the way it was in the 90s.

Right. I get all the pro black shyt but that “white validation” is what gets these guys paid and bigger looks. Dude playing Ghost should be a much bigger actor. Everybody associated with this show should be eating. There’s an inevitable ceiling when it just stays in the culture. Its the sad truth.


Another GREAT episode. My wife was low key annoyed at how much I was geeking throughout. Just the soundtrack for this episode alone restored the feeling… Jeru… Black Moon… REDMAN

They did Stretch and Bobbito dirty tho lol. Those actors looked nothing like them. Still an amazing episode though.

Amazing episode! Raekwon looking at the bullet holes wanting to punch himself with regret was such a dope scene. I was a kid around the wutang era but wow this show is still so fire without the greatest context.
