I heard a couple Nahmir songs I fukked with and other than that I don't really know any of these cats music..I'm sure most of it wouldn't be my speed, a xxl freshman list hasn't mattered for years. Half these rappers will fade away by this time next year. Hating on these new era cats is a waste of time and saying they're killing hip hop is inaccurate, year in year out dozens of albums come out that fit the criteria for "golden era" hip hop no matter what your idea of that is. At the end of the day I couldn't give a fukk less who is or isn't on the cover of XXL. Nas, Jay Rock and E-40 are all dropping projects in the next 10 days and were fresh off the heels of a classic Pusha T project that was topped off with him bodying Drake. It's a great time in hip hop right now.
