Yeah, the Original sentai's are always sillier and somehow edgier at the same time. The only Power Rangers seasons that came close to that perfect balance were "In Space", "Lost Galaxy", "Time Force", "SPD" and "RPM".

MMPR is complete . My memory of the show is so much better than when I tried rewatching it on Netflix. The older Super Sentai (mid 90s and earlier) I have seen have been, at the very least, rewatchable.

Ninja Storm is dope (one of my fave seasons actually), but it doesn't have the edginess of the other seasons I mentioned. Tone wise it's closer to the Mighty Morphin era.
