Well, not one single fighting lesson, doctrine, syllabus, in one single fighting art or style, in the known history of fighting on planet earth, has anything written in it or taught to it's students regarding there being some imaginary element of "fair/unfair" in a fight.
That is a Western/Euro thing. It's "Hollywood". It's not reality, and there's no such thing as "unwritten manhood rules that say fight fair"

You have a sheltered and inexperienced sense of reality of you believe in some invisible line of "keeping it real" when it comes to fighting. Grow up. Learn what a "fight" is. If you want to slap box with your homeboys, have "toughman" competitions to settle your differences..then that's different. Those things come with stipulations. Fighting does not which is why it takes a certain type of person to truly like fighting.
