Drake arrived last night, and while he talked plenty of shyt throughout, it wasn't until the last seconds of the song that he dropped the kicker -- "You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater nikka, we aināt forget".
While it was intended to be something of an ether, the line caused more confusion than damage, with Twitter quickly hypothesizing about how, when, and why Drizzy got peed on.
A couple of sources have spoken up on the event, which is said to have happened way back in 2010, during a screening of
T.I.'s film, Takers. Ozone Magazine's Julia Beverly reports that Tip's friend who did the pissing was a man known as Cap, or Terrance Curtis Beasley, and that he was very intoxicated.
TMZ reports that Drizzy, who attended the event, yelled "motherfukker", jumped out of his seat and ran out of the theatre when the dude started peeing in the aisle (subsequently hitting him with the stream) about 30 minutes into the movie. It's not clear if he was actually aiming at Drake in any way, but overall, it seems like it was done mostly out of drunkenness rather than spite.
Complex points out that Cap is currently serving life in prison for charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm. Perhaps it's best that Drake didn't give him a a hard time?
