Reporting the news was neutral and down the middle during Koppel's time. What changed was the advent of 24 hr news so people had to fill up the time with filibuster and other bullshyt. There was nothing "Liberal" about reporting the news neutrally.. No reporting the news wasn't neutral during Koppel's time. Koppel called Oliver North a professional liar, the truth, when he interviewed Bill Clinton he called him a misunderstood political figure working for the people. Again Murrow literally worked for a propaganda arm of the US government.
24hr news didn't change anything, except the medium of news presentation, the people were still the same.
Yes if you present news with a liberal bias, it is biased. Just because you read liberal talking points in monotone doesn't change that its bias.

Both MSNBC, NBC, ABC, Fox, CBS, CNN, and every news organization in between is catering to a market.
