great place don't know if I could live there though...I actually prefer the bay area its more of my vibe...
I ran the Long Beach Marathon two years ago. Running along the Beach and The University 
San Diego is beautiful. So glad I have family down there

Don't let the palm dreams and scenery fool u it's not all it's crack up to be.
Just ask the thousands of natives moving out of state every year which will be me soon.
Compared to Nor Cal so cal is cheaper, but u better have at least $1100 a month for rent in a good area to live.
and if u want to live next to the ocean or surrounding area expect to pay more.
i just 5 neighbors who are moving to arizona, colorado and texas because of cost-of-living and a more reasonable life.
If u do move to cali i recommend the bay area unless u a die hard republican type of person.. the bay is more of a down to earth straight on reality place

Had a scholly to UC San Diego back in the day, smh at me not taking it. It was before I realized SD was my favorite city in the country.

Out-of-towners must love Cali more than natives. I met a lot of ppl who moved from Cali over the last half decade. Most were happy after the move...

.I'm going to go to a community college out there in the spring so i can become a resident and transfer into the university easier. Plus, the tuition will be cheaper.
Ill be out there at U of A next year. Getting my Master's in Hydrology. Enjoying my last year in Cali
