Neither PS4/XB1 read from disc this gen, the disc are only put in to verify you actually own the game once it's installed. (the entire game is installed to the HDD)

It's not a disc reading problem, my guess would be that it's an overheating problem and that your console isn't getting enough airflow
I think it has to be oveheating lol

I connected it to tv so it's on more than usual

Yeah, usually when images are melting on screen like that it's a gpu heating issue.

They say the Xbox One can stay on 24 hours a day for 10 years but I unplug my power brick whenever I'm not using it.

I never leave my PS4 in sleep mode also

I don't trust cacs, would be bad business if they made things that didn't break cause then you wouldn't buy another console

That Xbox GPU is overheating because it's struggling to handle native 1080P content. This doesn't happen on PS4. Get rid of that Xbox while you're at it and get a real gaming system that handles these games with ease.
Thanks man.

I unugged it and will just try again tomorrow.

I was on that bytch all damn day :pachaha:

that probably explains why it was doing that.

I usually don't game on one particular console for more than an hour at a time

Was playing modded Watchdogs on PC earlier and the temps were at like 70 °C, and that's with 5 fans and decent airflow. So I can only imagine what type of temps PS4 and XB1 are getting. There needs to be an option built into the console to let you monitor the temps

but they're too busy adding non important sh1t like spotify updates

Give it a break and the next time u hook it up make sure it's in an area that isn't enclosed and has proper airflow and don't game for more than 60 minute sessions at a time. Unplug the power brick when not in use.

Everything should be fine

If not then u might need a new one

its crazy that your XB1 is overheating because mines is always usually cool to the touch while my PS4 is almost always hot.

After being embarrassed with the 360s overheating problems last gen M$ stepped up their sh1t as far as ventilation and cooling is concerned.

Normal ppl don't game for 12 hours straight tho

I've never seen anything like it. My old Xbox 360 froze at times from getting too hot but this is next level fukkery. You should really disconnect the Xbox from being used as a TV peripheral. Put it in a cooler place and unplug the power brick when not in use.

Microsoft should have tested these shyts more but I told y'all they was out to screw you... :yeshrug:
