as a last ditch effort i'd try what AkaDemik recommended before I send it in but u said u were already at fedex

If ur a gaming noob make sure u remember ur Gamertag and pw so u can continue to play it on ur new console. And Try to replace it with another digital "bundle" so u can get another free game that's locked to ur account

hes not gonna be able to fix ur console, they'll just replace it with another so ur getting a factory reset anyway.
You won't need to ask for a free game if Assassins creed was digitally connected to your account (meaning the bundle came with a redeemable code that you used and not a disc) and you simply ask for a different bundle.
