I imagine you lames showing these vids to your brehs hoping they will come back to larrybox :mjlol:..It's too late :wow:
When you're broke as shyt, you look at things from a broke nikka reality :wow:
Xbox already doing fine, but when Scorpio drops? You already seen the response NET WIDE
nikkaz hopping back on the xbox bandwagon and their is NO ANSWER from the competiton :win:

So when you say its too late, you're acting like people have spent up all their money and will not buy Scorpio because of that
But the truth is, you're just talking about yourself :francis:

They leap is wider than PS4 over Xbox1 tho :sas2:
And since it is custom made to work even better than the stats say, has Directx built in
You know.. Tiled Resources :banderas:

This makes it much more powerful than you're even giving credit for bruh
Its OK Mowgli, we see the cracks in your armor...

Considering I got a 4k TV and brand new sound system and I'm happy with my PS4 Pro and all these exclusives, I have no need to taint my man den with a larrybox :hhh:

This is pretty good news for the enthusiasts. This won't really mean much for people right now but I suspect late next year some UHDTV makers will have HDMI 2.1 support.

Though I did post about this a while ago, when HDMI 2.1 was revealed.

Speaking exclusively with CE Pro, HDMI Forum CEO Chris Pasqualino notes, "We have been working hard to get this 'bad boy' released. We have identified the five marquee features of the new spec."

Those are:

  • Higher Video Resolutions support a range of higher resolutions and faster refresh rates including 8K60Hz and 4K120Hz for immersive viewing and smooth fast-action detail.
  • Dynamic HDR ensures every moment of a video is displayed at its ideal values for depth, detail, brightness, contrast, and wider color gamuts—on a scene-by-scene or even a frame-by-frame basis.
  • 48G cables enable up to 48Gbps bandwidth for uncompressed HDMI 2.1 feature support including 8K video with HDR. The cable is backwards compatible with earlier versions of the HDMI Specification and can be used with existing HDMI devices.
  • eARC supports the most advanced audio formats such as object-based audio, and enables advanced audio signal control capabilities including device auto-detect.
  • Game Mode VRR features variable refresh rate, which enables a 3D graphics processor to display the image at the moment it is rendered for more fluid and better detailed gameplay, and for reducing or eliminating lag, stutter, and frame tearing.

Tobias adds, "How an individual piece of equipment will meet the 2.1 standard will depend on the manufacturer and the features. Some manufacturers may be able to achieve 2.1 compliance with just a firmware upgrade; others will require new hardware," he says.

Funny how the OP suddenly cares about HDMI 2.1 stuff. :ohhh:

Its either coming or its not, I don't think Scorpio will be the reason either way
it's not something that benefits TV or movies though. only video games really benefit from variable refresh tech, so what besides a video game console will push the tech into living rooms?

Well you guys swear PC's are so popular,HTPC's/etc.
Yes, the answer is PC. Games and just internet related stuff. As we move forward into the future then one thing we can count on is more interactivity. So I expect all my devices to be able to sync with each other. Phone, tablet, tv, pc/etc.

Consoles will have their roles as well. I just don't believe that alone would be enough to even warrant all that. It would make more sense to just make monitors designed for consoles imo
