Out of character? I've been making fun of Nas since his horrible feature on the Make It Last Forever remake.

The dualities
I love Nas, by the way. One of the most important music makers of my lifetime, period.
Dog, people didn't just think Droog was Nas - they absolutely were ready to fight on that lie, word to Slim Charles. Except they didn't think it was a lie. They hatched elaborate conspiracy theories in their mind about why Droog couldn't possibly not be Nas. They needed Droog to be Nas. Then they turned around and shytted on Droog's music - which was, frankly, better than anything Nas has made in a long time - as if they weren't just using it to bolster their stan arguments for Nas being the undisputed GOAT.
Dead ass if Nas farted on wax and made some Chewbacca sounds for a chorus his stans would be like "who else would take hip hop forward to the next level of experimental genius? Nas did it again!" These dudes are a fukking cult, it's remarkable.

I mean Nas is the greatest of all time, someone no one can match in your mind and you got took in so easily by a chubby white/Puerto Rican guy...writing and making up theories as to why the goat would rap under this new mysterious alias etc only to be disappointed.. some were still in denial too haha.

BTW, I never believed Droog was Nas. I just thought it was weird that there was very little information on this dude in this era of information and social media. Anyone claiming they didn't find that kinda funny is lying.
