i'd rather watch the local news at halftime.

By far the worst aspect of the NBA. Not even just the ESPN people. You turn on any broadcast other than the Nets and maybe TNT as well, the broadcasters don't do their homework at all. They botch basic ass facts, don't know what player they're talking about.

The NFL guys know their shyt inside and out. MLB know their shyt. NHL know their shyt. In the NBA, you could get 3 pornstars to do color commentary and it would sound the same.
