Niqqas wanna be related to every person in history that they can label as Black.

By the US "one drop" rule basically any person mixed with any precent African would be Black.

The Moors. Ancient Egypt. The Biblical Hebrews.

This approach of going back thousands of years to relate to ancestry really only works for people with millena long, unbroken lineages.

Most old world citizens have cultural connections to ancient humans.

The new world descendants of slaves have cultural links to Africa, but our main cultural expression was born and cultivated here. From basic stuff like language on up to overall worldview: we have a wholly unique experience and perspective. Not to mention the eclectic nature of our family tree. Most of us are not "pure" of race. Most of us have a coulpe ancestors from places besides Africa, too.

So I start with, and stick with my Black American roots. Descendant of slaves on both sides. And got a couple CACs and Natives sitting up in the family tree on both sides.

I just consider being Black as being down with the shyt and kinda looking somewhat Black. American rules. Hell, if I met a truly down ass person of any race who was wholly dedicated to Soul, I'd accept them too. Whoever wanna be part of the fam come on in - meaning: loyalty to and defense of Black people.

I don't worry about being a Hotep or a Moor in a past life. I feel like my shyt is flyer than all that other shyt anyway. For simplicity sake I call it

The series is about "African" queens. we all know not all blacks are full african and not all africans are black.
apparently there was a prior episode that the fake outrage seems to have skipped lol

For sure. My post was based on my assumption that OP thought he had some good outrage fodder. "Oh no."
Also the woman in that picture is clearly not Greek.

Cleopatra VII life story is amazing. I’m excited to see a show for her but I don’t know why they would depict her as a black woman.
