Sounds like Damon is trying to get back to the OG sound, a little more than on the last stuff. Pretty sure I own every Gorillaz album, and they never dropped anything that wasn't dope.

I aint gon hold u my favorite Gorillaz album is that random bullshyt EP The Fall that he put out during the Plastic Beach tour. I like the features sometimes but imo he's at his best just locked tf in on his own vibe.

I've heard some of it and it sounds great, lot of Asian influences. The Manifesto feat Proof is really good as is the single with Sparks, good guests across this. Gives me a bit of a Plastic Beach vibe but more ramped up.

That was wierd as hell, cool to see Proof getting some love but it honestly sounds like someone first attempt at a blend that didn't work.
