The Dark Knight was the only movie I've ever enjoyed in the theater that was this long and even that was borderline for me

I'll never watch another movie in the theater if it's 3hrs or more running time that's an automatic pass I'll watch it at home

Its a damn good detective film, with legit action in it.

Its Comic book Batman in live action.

I was gonna say the same thing.

It's definitely the most different portrayal of batman we've seen since Batman 89.

I enjoyed it but 3 things

1) Everything is normalized in emotions & empanthy.

2) If your expecting a marvel-esque superhero romp ... don't waste your time coming to see this.

3) It's a top 5 Batman movie in that universe (Dark Knight , Batman 89 , The Joker , Dark Knight Rises & the Batman) of movies that would make my top 5.

I watched Dune with HBO Max and there’s no way I would have it made it through that in theaters even with how beautifully shot it is. 3 hours is pushing it for me but the consensus seems to be Batman is worth it. I’ll make an exception. I’m just grateful this isn’t an origin story.
