I agree, that's one of the saving graces of the movie.

I had a hard time getting through it twice, I was going to straight up trash it at that point but the second half of the movie evened things out a bit. The last hour and a half could have been a decent movie in and of itself.

I don't want to watch it again any time soon but that's enough to get me on board for if they do another installment, especially if Penguin is in it again. But I hope with DC restructuring everything to be more streamline they edge this shyt out tbh. Give me Batfleck with better writing for the new DC contunity.

Movie really suffered from its length and its loss of focus in the latter parts. That's too bad because there were good things about. Cinematography, realism, grittiness of the city and tension of the investigation... All that was cool but they really could have cut a lot of the third act out. That terroristic shyt came out of nowhere and the Riddler would have benefited from being introduced for real way earlier.
