Gina Conway, the only person caught related to the tragic incident, CLAIMED the shooter was Leerdam and planner was Wingate.
Gina Conway, after the sentencing, also redacted her confession.
In other words, Max is being imprison on the word of one woman, and that woman alone; and even that woman isn't saying her statements were entirely correct.
You can find all these out, if you actually bother to read any of the court documents available online. So people, get off your ass and do your own research, instead of asking others to convince you one way or the other. Make up your own mind, but only AFTER you fully read the papers.

It was another case of the people who committed the worst of the crime flipping and somehow getting less time than an ancillary suspect. If I remember correctly it wasn't even his plan, so he wasn't the mastermind. The chick found out about the dudes and basically came to him with the plan and Max B simply cosigned it. Surprised more people didn't talk about this in the TLOP thread but that intermission is so goddamn frightening to me. Imagine being on top of the world, and now the only contact you have with the outside world, where you were on top, is through some shytty phone.
