I fukks with LD, but I think this is more of a comedian thing where they don’t like to be asked to apologize for their jokes. Chappelle rants about this too. Most comedians would love to tell those who the feel the need to grandstand over innocuous jokes to just stop watching. He’s just one of the few that have reached a level where he can openly say it... especially when those grandstanding are Trump supporters.
