Song is dope. People calling it soft, need to check the current state of hip hop, and check their playlist.

With that said, this sound is really where some mainstream R&B needs to go. It's danceable and has a good BPM for this young generation, yet the music still contains the soul that mainstream R&B is missing.
Disclosure are (deep) house and UK Garage, this is soft. That's like saying that Big Sean isn't soft cause Frank Ocean is softer.

nah it should embrace soulful house more imo
I totally disagree.
I think if anything it should go back to the neo-soul sound while incorporating aspects
of current EDM production.
Anderson .Paak and others are doing a good job of that.
There's some house, some Hip Hop, some neo-soul etc. all mixed into
an interesting sound.

I'm a huge Disclosure fan. They are making some of the most interesting dance music right now that's light years ahead of the derivative/soulless crap I hear on the radio.

Settle was a huge crossover hit and helped sparked the deep house revival of the last few years. Even had some of ya'll favorite rappers embrace the deep house/garage sound for a song or two.

Hope Disclosure doesn't sell-out.

Their shyt isn't getting spun in clubs proper anymore. Their songs are in rotation at Top 40 spots

There has been R&B/Neo Soul/Deep-Funky House/HipHop hybrids since the late 90's
