I gave him props when he first dropped back in like 98 as actually being able to rap...something which wasn't the usual for white rappers back then.

He also caught lightning in a bottle because he dropped at a time when hip hop was over doing it with the "can't we all get along" as we had just lost two of our stars. This the same time period when the Eastcoast lost their stranglr hold on the industry and stopped hating. Allowing people like P. Puffy, and other rappers who REALLY couldn't rap breathe.

So along comes this cac...and...he's pretty witty on the mic...in a cac kinda way and he actually has skills.

Youngins listen to me as I was a drinking age GROWN man then. Not some lil nikka in middle school thinking I know wassup when I don't.

I remember buying that first album. nikka was paranoid as fukk someone would see me buying that on some peeping over my shoulder and tucking it under my shirt shyt! See many of you don't know that then being a white rapper placed a HUGE barrier on your career! It's the reason other white rappers didn't place a pic of themselves on their cdsn they would have some artsy shyt ala Company Flow, Smut Peddlers. If a mafukka didn't have his pic on his cd you knew he was either white or ugly as fukk!

you have to understand WHY i push marshall hard on this foum..

every single thread/ mention EM gets he gets disrespected an hated on at an absurd level. its sad really. i wouldnt have a problem if you would simply lay out your reasons for why you have these negative opinions of him.. i understand if its because of his "racist" song. thats a completely viable reason imo.

but thats not why the majority here slander him to death.. its becasue their insecure. and HATE that they kow in their heart og hearts that EM is THE BEST. and they simply cant handle it. so they try to diminish his skills and accomplishments..

its really pointless.. hes such a polarizing figure you either LOVE him or HATE him. theres no real in between. and all these arguments we have over him is not going to hange anyones opinion.


but to ignore/hate the skill and his dedication to the craft of hip-hop really says more about you then it oes Eminem. if you love Mcin and the art of rap you have to reconize and apprecaute what hes done and continue to do.. and its your loss. your missin out on some of the best rappin/rhymin/Mcin in history and its all because of YOUR FEELINGS..
