Nope...dumb ass American's in Iran...

Nope...didnt care about the characters..the only development was on Ben Afflect and you never really felt like he was in danger

Nah...they looked out of place...in other words they welcomed the attention...boring movie...that was overhyped

Then I think.."what was so special about the movie"

When I think of Best Picture..I think of shyt like "Schlinder's List" or "Forrest Gump", "Saving Private Ryan"....you actually gave a fukk about the characters in these movies

Can't comment on you "caring" about characters, but I don't see how you felt the tension in the airport yet didn't feel it in those other situations. Makes no sense.

Sure it does

The airport scene...they were feet away from "freedom" but had to go to the holding area where men with automatic rifles held them in limbo..... they convinced the head guard to call Hollywood.....meanwhile the Hollywood connect was being held up by a movie shoot...just to make it in the nick of time to answer the phone...all while the guard wanted waited on the phone to answer....

they then manage to board the plane with the guards on they heels....

I dont even remember the maid scene..didnt she tell dude "yeah there were guests, but they are gone"?

Im not even sure if it was even necessary for them to walk the streets in the first place....because didnt they go back to the house afterwards??

the other scenes were them neck deep in shyt already

If it wasn't necessary, then how were they supposed to get out of that meeting?

And you need not explain why the climax of the movie is tension-filled. What makes no sense is how you can see the tension in that situation in which they were close to getting caught/killed but not see it in the other situations which could've got them caught/killed.

Its the anxiety of the possiblity of boarding the plane to freedom mixed in with the thought of beating murdered...sounds tense to me

Again, I know why the climax was tense.

The point is that there's plenty of tense moments that involve situations which could go very bad. You invented that "hope of escape" requirement. Narrowingly escaping death/capture is enough to make a tense scene.

Daniel Craig!!...Eric Bana!!..You see this Argo shyt and not see one of Speilberg's classic's??????

Real life hostage dramas ain't my thing. Only saw Argo cuz I happened to take a flight around these the time I acquired it and needed something to pass the time. I would have never sat down and put that in.

I'm sleeping on Munich, tho.... I'm on it...
