That's a bad comparision, Noel is an elite defender and Jahlil is average to below average at best, while Jahlil is an elite offensive prospect, while Noel is below average. On either end of the court they will cancel out each other's weaknesses. Meanwhile with Randle and Okafor both being below average defenders there is no elite ability on that side of the floor.How's Noel's jumper?? Last I checked he doesn't have one.
People talked about Randle/Okafor on D but Noel/Okafor on O
They might end up being a better tandem on D than O if Okafor actually tries to play it.
Noel got better over the season offensively btw , he had multiple 20pt and 10reb games and even had 30 and 14 against Deandre Jordan.So I wouldn't say he's terrible.
