Okafor and Ariza to Washington for Lewis & Pick

Im sorry, but I cant be positive about this at all and its mostly because there is no plan.

Yeah I don't like the move because it reminds me of the old Wiz. Pre-Gilbert. Okafor is just an overpaid stiff like Ike Austin. Ariza has talent but has never in his life been an impact player.

This move alone is a zero, I hope it doesn't hurt too much capwise. The only thing that matters is whether or not John Wall can play with them...

The Hornets won this trade easily, they shouldn't give EG a max, if they keep getting some picks for the next few years, that team could be deadly

I've had time to process this trade and I still can' see any good from it.

The only plausible thing we can do is trade Okafor to a team like HOU that needs size... if we can get Kevin Martin for him, I'd feel OK about the trade.

I'm just super blown we didn't get the #10 pick for taking on all that salary.

Jan Vesely wouldn't serve a purpose if they took MKG.

Jan is a PF, not a SF. He is being molded into a 4. He doesn't have the skill to play the 3 in the NBA.

We got 3 Centers in Nene, Seraphin and Okafor (Nene can play the 4)

We got 3 PFs in Blatche, Booker, and Vesely. Blatche will hopefully be amnestied.

Ariza has a player option after nexct season and Okafor will be expiring. If the wizards can make the playoffs, it keeps Wall happy and would make DC a more favorible place for free agents. 2013 free agent list ain't all that to begin with and the draft class next year too isn't worth tanking another year.

That's what i said. Ariza has a player option after next season and Okafor will be expiring then. Chances are Ariza opts out his option and Okafor could be used for trade bait after next season. Not too bad of a loss IMO
