I'm sitting here pontificating on life, reading a bunch of motivational quotes, etc.

Everything seems to revolve around passion and the notion that one should follow that passion and it will lead to an amazing and fulfilling life.

Here's the thing tho. i'm not really passionate about much. I'm a laid back dude. There's not much I can think of at the moment that I would REALLY be passionate about. I have a ton of interests but nothing i'd risk giving up my comfy life to go after.

so i figured i'd ask you guys.

Running, I just love to sprint for some reason... Had it only been as strong back in jr. high, my life would have taken a different path. Man cooking and music

its a cliche answer but some nikkas make music, for recognition, some nikkas do it to have a hobby, music is legitimately something im passionate about, I spend hours listening to music that spans all different cultures and sounds, from chill laid back shyt to the most demonic black metal you've ever heard. And, its not just normal shyt either, my tastes span across literally every spectrum you could think of, I been brushing up on my Middle Eastern Classical today, trying to learn as much as I can about the culture, what inspired the music and the instruments it's played with. Music takes you to a whole different place man, when I was young my dad used to force me to listen to Jazz and shyt during car rides, and at the time I hated it soo much like it killed me, but I was fighting it so much that it took me until years later to realize that I loved it. My pops probably rues the day he did that because it ended up being my gateway outside of hip hop and he hates all that metal shyt.

When I had money i took piano/music theory lessons once a week to brush up on my piano skills and shyt, sadly im broke now but I'll resume as soon as I get paid, but luckily I taught myself guitar when I was 16 or so, so later on this week imma pick that back up and try to reteach myself everything I forgotten since its been awhile since I played

And cooking, thats instant gratification right there man, nothings better than when you finish cooking something and its the most beautiful delicious thing you've ever tasted, and when people love the shyt you made
