From what I've heard, his band has some interesting sounding stuff as well. I'll say that I like how people are comfortable bending genres these days or feeling like all music is music, and trying different things. That goes for the Future Islands singer rapping, and also for Madlib, b/c I've heard he has electronic albums, rock albums, jazz albums, and other non hip-hop stuff.

First joint almost sounds like some David Bowie shyt.
