I'm still :mindblown: that people think Kevin Martin was the main piece the Thunder wanted or that he was going to stay.

OKC owners are clearly stingy with money

The Harden trade was all time stupid

But let's not act like losing Kevin Martin is a huge deal

Martin was the main guy they traded for, how is he not a big deal? :what:

Most these 1st round picks are busts, none of the picks will be high

I'm confused of why people thought he was a long term stay as well, he was clearly a salary dump, allowed us to get rid of tons of awful contracts.

LOL no the hell he wasn't, we traded for his expiring to get rid of long term contracts. presti wanted parson we got lamb instead.

For all the talk of Lamb & his development, Lamb doesn't even have to do anything special to be effective for OKC. All he has to do is what Kevin Martin did last season, stand out at the 3 point line & hit some shots. Lamb doesn't have a lot of pressure on him the way Martin did either since Reggie will be the 6th man. Martin had to replace the scoring Harden left. Reggie did pretty good last year & excellent in the playoffs after being forced into the starting lineup after Russy went down. Reggie can replace the scoring Martin left & anything Lamb/PJ3 gives is icing on the cake.

Martin was a stop gap so lamb would have a year to develop

But doesn't seem like he's ready anyways
Let me get this right :troll:

OKC accomplished the rare feat of drafting three legit superstars and traded the superstar shooting guard (which is extremely hard to find) so that a guy that was in the D-League could red shirt for a year and replace him.

Makes sense.

Thunder lost on the trade but its not their fault

That draft pick would have been Ben mclemore if the grizzlies didn't give Toronto Rudy gay for free

There's no way the thunder could have anticipated that

Mclemore is a better shooter than harden and a better athlete than harden, he would have fit in perfectly.

He probably won't ever be as productive as harden but okc was willing to live with that since he was gonna be playing for cheap for four years

Y'all are dense and refuse to accept that okc ownership REFUSED to pay Ibaka harden Durant and Westbrook

Common sense thing to do woulda been amnesty Perkins but they refuse to let someone collect checks for free. Mclemore and Ibaka vs harden is an easy decision

I think they saw Lamb as the long term answer to replace Harden's scoring off the bench and took Martin to take that role for a season while Lamb developed

Like I said it didn't work out how they wanted and this has to go down as one of the stupidest trades in history because it not only fukked up their team but also may have helped build a juggernaut in their conference (Houston)

Thunder fans please stop acting like you wouldn't take that trade back in a heart beat. Jeremy Lamb?? He spent the whole year in the D-League & Stephen Adams is gonna spend this year in the D-league. They traded arguably a top 15 NBA player for that?? Theyre gonna waste a few years when their championship window was open to develop guys who may not even pan out? Even Thunder management knows this didn't work out & they expected to get better talent with those picks.

But try to act like Harden was a second rate nikka, compared to this career bum:beli:

On top of that OKC fans refuse to acknowledge that could've kept harden had they not resign perkins, and Ibaka, but want to use the money this and money that argument. Then they pretend Ibaka is still a far better choice despite Harden putting up MVP caliber stats:snoop:

OKC got rid of Harden before they actually tried to insert all 3 stars in the lineup to see how great they could play together, thats a franchise crippling L, horrible organization, and a shytty stupid coach to boot
