As long as you have that nikka controlling the rock and running the offense you gonna keep taking L's. He's s 6"3 shooting guard. He has no concept of getting his team involved, which is the sole job of a point :heh: Brick after brick after brick.....he should've been hitting Adams, Serge and Durant all night.
A PG wont help much when you have that same undersized SG (as you put it) still on the team is the type of player who constantly NEEDS the ball in his hands. :yeshrug:
That's the part you clones often forget. Some players NEED the ball in their hands constantly. Russel is one of those. Having a good PG is great but a PG who doesnt constantly have the ball in his hands is basically useless as a PG. If you have other players on the squad who like to sit on the ball a lot it reduces your PG to BJ Armstrong on the Bulls or Lindsey Hunter on the Pistons status.

Im not saying you cant win with them but Having a PG with such players on a team is like putting handcuffs on a gymnast and asking them to perform at the olympic trials.

When Russ is on the bench, who plays the point? Waiters? This should tell you they need a true point to at least come off the bench and help them down the stretch. I don't think defense is a problem with them.

Take out KD and Westbrook's shots and the rest of the team was 17-49. The other 3 starters were 9-33....but keep passing though :stopitslime:

harden allowed russy and durant to play with eachother and he controlled the offense.

they miss him.

Dap.....They need a third scorer......As long as you only have 2, they will get burned out down the stretch.......Somebody to come off the bench like Harden would, and in the 4th quarter they all can be on the floor together.....If they had Harden right now, it would be a tough task to beat them.

Moving Westbrook to SG is a death sentence for OKC. Part of Westbrook values is being able to take those midrange when he want and penetrate when he want. He is the pure definition of needing the ball in his hands. Put it in a pg and make him a sg and he is nowhere near as deadly

Yea its crazy how Westbrook doesn't have a PG mentality even tho he racks up so many assists. He doesn't really try to get everyone involved. His assists are from him being athletic enough to break down the D & smart enough to hit the open man.
A real PG would be thinking - let me get Kanter/Ibaka the ball, so they'll be more active on D

They'd still get their ass beat because now you have no bigs worth mentioning and then your bench is still poor.

It comes down to 2 things:

1. They ruined Serge Ibaka.

2. Adams aside, whatever magic Presti had on draft night is gone

I believe Adams and Ibaka have proven to be enough down low. Adams will get better during the next few years. They need another scorer and probably a little more depth on the bench to rest guys. But you can't tell me a team that beat San Antonio and made Golden State go 7 games in the Western Conference finals is that far away......

300 murders a year
they just lost to a team who star is a undersized sg playing at the point

yes they let harden go, but they felt giving the money to ibaka was a more solid investment that handing a max to a harden who does pretty much what westbrook and durant does, but none of those 3 can do what ibaka is supposed to do. and yes they let reggie jackson go but again, why are you paying max to the starting pg and the back up basically? and in both instances they were compensated fairly. unlike the dumb ass bulls front office that lose assets for nothing.

they can add whatever else to the roster, this shyt is on durant and westbrook. not like my bulls who had 1 guy d rose going up against a big 3 in miami by his lonesome and the only help those idiots add is old ass rip hamilton. okc had the squad, it was good enough to get by the 67 win spurs, and good enough to go up 3-1 on a 73 win warriors. that was a epic choke job, fully on them. waiters played way above expectations, roberson defended all stars klay and curry about as good as you can defend legit superstars, kanter and adams rebounded well for the series, morrow had a game he hit some big shots, ibaka hit some 3s got some blocks, maybe based on his contract you can say he should have given a little more, but again 3-1 lead, durant and westbrook got to close that one out.

Adams wouldn't be there if Harden was still there.

Ibaka's turned into a non factor in the post. Sucks what they've done to him.

Big time. It's one thing to have a mid range j, but having and turning him into someone hanging around the 3 point line?
