I think that's an apples and oranges situation. I say that only because I don't know the history of Duke, but I'd only assume the reason North Carolina blacks feel that way is because of Duke's enrollment policies AFTER UNC lifted their discriminatory policies.

But I do think we need to have a spinoff thread to discuss the history of discrimination at public/private universities. A lot of feelings will be hurt and a lot of pleas will be copped.
