Above the fray.
Breh are you slow?

You can tell people apart from their cultural/ethnic names the same way you can tell anyone else apart from theirs

It’s that simple I don’t know what’s so hard about that seriously

If a person has a Chinese name you would clock they’re Chinese would you not?

I don’t know how you can’t tell them apart from their names when even white folks in the Uk can tell them apart
It's a legit question.

How many separate ethnic groups exist in Nigeria? How many sizable ones exist?

Could you identify a surname of a person from one of the tiny ethnic groups?

The Latin name you used as an example points to language. People from Latin America could probably guess the nationality of someone with that surname based on the frequency of it in one former colony over the other. Non latin person sees it as a generic Spanish surname.

The poster was saying that as outsiders, we see West African last names....and because of the visibility of prominent Nigerian Americans, we see and note them as "Nigerian" names.

*We might hear an Asian last name, and not be able to immediately place the country or ethnicity of the person.

Im not caping for nobody but you caping for Nigerians like you they paid lawyer.
You the one that brought indians and Chinese up Im just making a point.
Nigerians scam heavy even when they come over here everyone else not so much...yet let you tell it they dont do it anymore than any other group wich is a blatant lie.
Goofy.

I would rather cape for Nigerians than a Chinese or Indian...

Every group scams if you think Nigerians scam more than cacs for example then let’s just end the convo here.

The difference with Nigerians and black people in general Is that they’re out here with their crimes while other groups do the same crimes and for the most past remain silent so it affects your perception and you’re not nuanced or intelligent enough to read between the lines.

This always reminds me of the white girl and black girl at the store, the store employee busy following the black around while the white girl steals all the merchandise :mjlol:

A lot of short school bus nikkas like @TEXAS IS FULL always looking out for Nigerians and end up getting wiped out by someone of a different nationality.:wow:

Ok your a sensible person that makes sense I can break it down for you

it’s by bolded, Bro each ethnic group in this world has their own naming and or name background it’s very easy to do, for instance among Asians we can tell just by the Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese by looking at their names where they come from or what their ethnic group is, the same concept is applied here. You can tell Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba apart just by looking at their last names/sur names.

I think your problem here is that you don’t know what Their actual cultural names look like amongst each group. That is something you have to be among them to know or at least study the names behind their culture to figure out
