I also heard red redemption works .. about to try that now

depends on the game. for example, Resistance's servers were shut down a long time ago. Metal Gear Solid 4 was shut down(but was revived on PC)

Champions online is still active (came out 09’) I think. It was the precursor to DC online/city of heroes/villains MMO
