took it hard bro. Epmd was at the top of their game with crossover and then headbanger. The whole hit squad Das efx and Redman was just getting started. I will say this though. that breakup i took personally. I dont think i gave Eric sermon first solo album a chance. I hated that song stay real but loved hitting switches. Same with the geto boys. and a lot of people will say that album with Big Mike is one of their best. But honestly, i never gave it a chance like i should have.

Put him and his iteration of the squad in the failed cultural draw phase wise. alternatively, Erick sermon's solo career as a producer and rapper.
Including his alternative squad collective name all amplified their draws in the sales spike era to platinum, turntable hit or remix publishing smash territory.

When previously epmd and its squad named collective ceiling at its height was from gold to barely 750k album wise on average.
The only exception being das efx whom lost their plat draw sales and high publishing radio hit draw in the change from styles war to the technical revolution. Where although equally skilled after shedding the iggity's. Still churned out high quality little heralded submissions in the aftermath. Which never even resulted in a turntable hit after the smash singles that were included on livin sewerside.
