But I remember running home with my brother after school to get video games in because once my father got home from work that was his tv...

we'd be sitting on the couch watching my pops out the corner of our eyes hoping he'd fall asleep so we could sneak over and turn on the video games again

I played the entire genesis catalog because of sc.

Was it the 1st type of console game streaming?

I didn't have any of that stuff. I was never into the Gameboys or consoles anyway. I had a Commodore 64 then got an Amiga 500. Those were way cheaper PCs back in the day. But, the Amiga was respected for it's graphics. People used to used them to build in graphics for their home videos; I think it was called a video toaster.

Someone else posted that not everyone had all that stuff anyway. The internet didn't really seem to start taking off with the general public until around 2000 or so.
