ahhhh the good old 90's. I aint got nothing bad to say about that decade.

BUT I will say the greatest moment of that decade was how blacks cheered and rose up after hearing the verdict was not guilty on OJ Simpson. It was a great moment for blacks world wide.

nikkas was celebrating that same night in the streets acting a straight fool!

good times.

Seeing as I was born in 96....

Gang violence on the west coast in my city spilled over into the early 00s so judging from what I seen then I can only imagine what was going on 90s:birdman:

The 80s in daygo tho:merchant:

If you missed an episode of a show, that was it. You were fukked. No dvd boxsets... no netflix... no hulu.

And if a show you wanted to see came on in the morning at say 7:00am... but you needed to leave at 7:15 to be at the bus stop to get to school on time, you might go all year watching the first 15 minutes of a show with no recolection of any conclussions whatsoever.

Thats almost torture for a young breh.:mjcry:

:damn: breh, didn't know how to program a VCR? My pops put me on game how to do that shyt as an youngin. People thought I had the juice because I could do that shyt :bryan:

I hated the super thug era . If you weren't trying to act hard all the time, you were a target to get messed with. Also it was hard to get bytches if you weren't either :francis:

Crabs in a barrel was at a all time high during the mid nineties by your own race if you were black .

At least I was in a group like a black student union for men when I was in school that was trying hard to stop it.
www.okprogram.org :salute:

They were founded in 1990 in my area and have expanded into several states now.

If you were black and a skater , you got jumped , plain and simple. I was :mindblown: when The Pack got the Vans and black skater era poppin during the 2000s because NO WAY that would've happened when I was in school.

You were clowned for wearing jeans that fit (butt huggers):stopitslime: cats wearing 5X JNCO jeans looking like Aladdin on the playground . Them shyts made you cold as fukk during the winter time because of all that open air you had wearing them. nikkas wearing thermals and other layers underneath :mjlol:

Having to find that one friend that had a cell phone to call your parents to pick you up after a field trip was like waiting in the lunch line because 20 other people wanted to see that friend too :lolbron:

10-10-321-1-the number to call someone to save some change .

Violence was bad back then. Brehs wanted to be super thugs and hardcore criminals because it was cool and got all the love back then.

Back then, cats got sent to the hospital because they got good grades in school and jumped after the last bell rang for the day. :mindblown: Being book smart was not only not cool, but you were made a constant target.

Crabs in a barrel was in full effect. Every black man had to get their :birdman: expression on to not look "soft" and any area you weren't familiar with, other brehs wanted to fight you. There was no "swag" back then to fall back on; you either were a comedian, or a thug. That's it. Or else your ass was food.

Black women who came up in that era, wanted Tupac and any street dude with a record. If you weren't doing work in the streets, most women in general passed by you. That's what I respect the 90s babies chick's for: growing up in the Kanye West era where black men actually smiled and we're human. The 70s and 80s chick's were the ones that wanted the ruffneck dudez.

Hmmm. I think that is better than Internet. That shyt ruined the quick fukk IMO due to the gassing.

fukk Facebook, instagram, etc. I used to love meeting new broads by skipping my school to go to other schools posing as a student of that school. :wow:
