I think anytime you tell someone they 'have' to like something that certain people will have a knee jerk reaction. If you are trying to force a younger person into something chances are they will tell you to fukk off just because.
With that said it seems to me the complete opposite. The younger generation does like a lot of older Hip Hop, just not to the same level the rest of us who grew up on it do. It gets mixed in with dance music, edm, etc. However a lot of people are not opposed to just fukk with older heads when they go on their rocking chair rants.
