No one said it was the norm. Fear of physical reprisal is a very real threat and most women have stories of men grabbing or cornering them. You would be curt too if you felt that your safety was in jeopardy. How is being physically threatened (or in this case killed) less worse than being subjected to not so kind words?

There are several documented cases of women being murdered for rejecting men's advances (most of them black women I might add). Me calling out the ridiculous notion here that "street harassment" isn't real, or the people who complain about rude rejections when women have to fear for their safety is not me being a shytty person. I'll also note your difference in response to me and Gravity.

You are talking about 2 entirely different things.

Still with all of that being said

There's no reason to be a bytch to a man who you're rejecting just because you can ( certain exceptions apply) and yes if you're being nasty just to be nasty that DOES make you a shytty person.

I certainly don't think women who are legitimately fearful of what a rejected stranger might do would go out of their way to be shytty to a said stranger.
What does that make any sense?
