With all the fukkery that's gonna ensue thanks to this new tackling rule that's even more fukked up than the catch rule, I'm honestly not sure how to judge the Defense in the first 5 weeks or so. It seems every team is gonna struggle early and we are gonna get a ton of offense from any competent unit across the league. At least it's gonna be fun watching us

Pre season game 2 was crazy. I hate these new tackle rules. Tackling is instinctual and to take that away you're gonna see more players get hurt not less.
I know it's only been two games but either those concussions have taken more out of Richburg than first thought or he's really working his way back because he seems a bit off.
I would cut Earl Mitchell and bring back Doomervil. Coaches think that the pass rush is something that will work itself out and it's not.

We def need to bring back Doom. If not we're fukked on the edge. Buck as good as he is cant do it by himself and Solomon is slowly coming along but we have NO ONE on the outside that can apply pressure. We're running a defense that needs consistent pressure for the coverages to work properly. Lynch needs to get on the fkn phone.

safe to say now, trading up to get beathard and joe williams were mistakes
ok, beathard mightve 'helped' us indirectly to get jimmy
I'll eat the crow sandwich on Beathard. I think he actually got worse this year. The one bright side is Nick Mullens has had a chance to shine and should take the #2 spot and Beathard be the #3. I was never a huge fan of Joe Williams but our runningback depth is awful outside Mckinnon and Breida. It's kind of a shyt show.
