Can't tell if you're joking or not. Obvi I don't know much about OBJs off field antics but you really think they're that bad to pass on a talent like him?

I doubt he gets traded tho.

I think OBJ would be too “distracted” coming to Cali. And some of the weird shyt he does.... I’m not sure it’s a good fit for the direction they trynna go.

Like I do think he is very talented. But it seems like they don’t want too many guys that rock their boat

There fitting and there is naturally good players.

Reid seemed like he fit well when they had him play 3-4 positions last year.

I don’t want to hear that excuse. If he wasn’t a pro bowler, the deep enforced and veteren leader in the team that was in the top 3 of defensive stats I would look at him as more expendable.

But he was a very good player for us that fit bullshyt is lost on me..... and you shouldn’t either hold it to the highest value either when we heard last year that Hoyer and Matt Barkley “fit” their system and word now coming out that even after we got Jimmy G, the plan was STILL to get Cousin as they didn’t initially think he fit the system and ultimately he played so well he changed their mind.

I think hes nothing special, he looked good early in his career but never put it all together and always hurt with concussion issues

And Ward is injured more that Reid...... every guy in his position now has injuries last year.

I’m not gonna sit here and have you discredit him for like he’s missing 6-8 games EVERY YEAR.

Only one season did he miss a lot of games and only missed 3 last year, which ain’t all that bad if you compare him to Ward. So it’s laughable to shoot that at Reid

Ward isnt costing us much hes still on a rookie deal

I agree with you about Ward, but i also believe Tartt and Colbert should be the starting safeties

Which would leave Reid as a backup, and unless he wants to take backup safety money, we dont need him

Also,why the fukk would Sherman watch all his games, its his job to opposing offense not the opposing defense

Double talk confuses, if Reid is soooooo bad, who says we gonna over pay or give him this $100M garaunteed contract?

Money wise Reid ain’t gonna hurt us.

Production and leadership wise, Reid will help us soooo much and brings a lot of leadership to team

But here’s the funny thing about that.... really can he?

Like yea.... he’s capable no different than if we asked Robbie Gould to play every spot just for the sake of asking...... but can he?

I don’t know.... I see him more as a raggedy band aid at spot till we get surgery so to speak.

And to clear up something, it’s not that I hate Ward and love Reid. But some of the cases for one player and against the other ain’t consistent and cats don’t seem genuine. I like Reid more for the team than Ward, he shows up more and if injuries really this big deal then he’s less injured than Ward

fukk a protest, if production was reversed with Ward having Reids career & Reid had Wards.

Then yes..... cut his ass....or don’t resign him

Let's be reality San Francisco and the Yorks are not brave enough to sign guys like Reid or Kaepernick but moreso Reid. I understand that we have younger players who played well last season but Reid is a leader on the field and in the Lockerroom should be back with us. This talk of him being an average safety is silly when he is consistenly been in the upper half of safeties for most of his career. If it werent for injuries he'd be elite but he is still a very good player either here or elsewhere.
