he isnt as explosive as desean, but hes a way better route runner and out of the breaks. and has decent vertical and knows how to use his body more.
some of pettis double moves are ridiculous and arent just off speed
Yea his double moves are really smooth, most double moves look herky jerky
He also looks bigger then Jackson but there running styles look identical
Either way the wr corps has officially been rebuilt and will be a force to reckon with.
The short intermediate routes for garcon should be wide open with defenses sagging back with Goodwin/Pettis out there

This times a hundred. This is exactly how I feel. Yes, we finished the season hot, but this was still a 6-10 football team that still needs talent infusion at several positions.

yeah I wouldnt mind this approach if we were, say, as stacked as Rams were and went to offs, but we have too many question marks to ignore value in draft and just try to hit on system fit players...
out of the 4 picks we made I like pettis the most as a player, but we spent too much to get him.

Well said...... I really wish we could’ve stacked more on best players available.
Normally the top teams have quite a few top 10 level players on their team as the foundation to the “depth and best for system” type players to accent them
