I agree with that, and he had some increased production due to forcing him to be more of a pass catcher. I still don't think McKinnon at that number is good value, but I could easily be proven wrong.

He averaged 9 yards a catch and prag hasn’t put together one bad deal yet.

I won't argue that Hyde has his flaws and an upgrade would be welcome. i don't think McKinnon is a clear upgrade, though he could shine in this offense.

But to say Breida played better is ridiculous.. Breida is awful.. no way around that.

I get it.. but every deal is apparently a good deal because either we got good value or because Parag hasn't put together one bad deal yet. I just don't know on this one. Are the contract details out yet?

I hope he's ready to be a consistent playmaker, but i still have my doubts.

Except for a couple of runs, he goes down at first contact. he's the typical overachiever (undrafted) guy that fans seem to love. Just watching him, he doesn't stand out as anything above average to me.

I would be cool with that. Maybe an overpay for Mckinnon, but if its front loaded like you mentioned, McKinnon gets his shot to be a playmaker with a talented rookie coming in cheap. Then the cost of that tandem evens out somewhat.

I dont think he is great, and i dont expect him to break tackles

But hes fast, decisive and hits the hole hard

Glad they let Hyde go, he was average and frustrating to watch.

I like the speedy backfield model we are going for, with two guys with good hands.

But watching a hole open up for what looks like a 5- 6 yard gain, only to see it stopped for a 3 yard gain is pretty frustrating. I still don't think he was better than Hyde, but i don't care what happens as long as the position gets upgraded.

To say Breida is better then Hyde is redic comment no matter what you think of Hyde. Although Hyde wasnt the answer in this scheme lets not prop up garbage ass players just because
