Why did we extend Brock Coyle? Dude was a special teams player at best. We must not have any faith in the linebacker class this year outside the top guys.
On a side note. I would prefer Jordy Nelson over him but I imagine Pryor would be cheap since was innefectual last year.

this is pretty interesting, I was never a huge fan of kilgore but I thought jimmy vouching for him and them extending him meant hes the defacto starter at C
Kilgore is backing up, he’s too weak to play guard. Jimmy vouching really means nothing, money talks and richburg got a whole bunch of it

So we got our new C and just got rid of Kilgore. Gotta wonder if this move thats clearly just about salary/cap space is because they are aiming for another important FA

I think moving on from Kilgore makes sense but wouldn't it have made more sense just to let him walk. I mean the funny thing is. He was at worst the 3rd best available center and some team would have paid him nicely. Either way I still like the Bozeman kid from Alabama and I think he would be available in the 3rd round.
