PFF graded Breida at a 73, Hyde a 51

YPC Breida 4.4 Hyde 3.9

And from watching every game this year I felt Breida was noticeably a more effective runner

On top of that Breida was a UDFA and a rookie, while Hyde was a second round pick around for 4 years. Not like Breida is taking over his starting role. Im willing to give him another shot as a backup/third down back. 4.4 yards per carry and 21 receptions as a rookie is pretty solid

I think moving on from Kilgore makes sense but wouldn't it have made more sense just to let him walk. I mean the funny thing is. He was at worst the 3rd best available center and some team would have paid him nicely. Either way I still like the Bozeman kid from Alabama and I think he would be available in the 3rd round.

Ahhh back on them “analytics” eh?

At the end of the day..... if MB can replace them TDs we lost with Hyde then so be it.

People really forget that Hyde scored more TD’s that everyone on the team and converted a lot of 3rd/4th and shorts but whatevs

I see. I still think he would have gotten more in the open market but sometimes it makes sense to take the guaranteed money and Miami is a good city to live in even if the Dolphins are in purgatory.

It’s funny looking back at that draft when it was said the best 2 WRs were Crab and Dez and then looking at their careers now. Almost makes you wonder if Dallas got Crab and we got Dez, what happens??

Is Jimmy Har still here? Does Dez make them catches in the SB? Do we repeat and have 7 rings now??

I don't see Crabtree coming back and honestly I don't see him playing with a chip on his shoulder/motivated again if he ever wears a Niner shirt on a second stint.

Wait? Who was it in Crabs draft that got drafted ahead of him that forced us to get him them?
