Tart had injury issues too, Ward isnt better than Reid, I cant sit here and say Colbert is better than Reid off of ONE season, especially when Reid played better than him with more tackles, more INTs, and the leadership he brings to the defense cant be forgotten. We aint hurting for money and anyone else out there that is big or bigger money has already been picked up or they aint coming to us as this point cuz if they were, they'd already signed.

Oh yea... he's another guy that gets injured a lot so its laughable to use that as a knock on anyone else

He's never really played a full season

5'11 and 193lbs or lighter? He dont really pack that BANG that I'd like us to have at Safety or DB that I'd love for us to have. He doesnt intimidate anyone

ward never stays healthy and the games where he played as a FS he wasnt impressive in any way. I dont get why saleh is so obsessed with him as an Earl Thomas kinda player, when its clear (at least to me) he really isnt Colbert looked much better at FS and Colbert was a rookie who cant cover.

Spot on with some of the criticism ofWard

I honestly think he should of stayed at corner

But im more for having Tartt and Colbert starting, Reid id be okay with coming back only on a real bargain deal

It funny. I was a big Jimmy Ward fan but I actually think he's expendable. Reid despite not being elite is way more valuable to the team and actually due the injury histories of all our defensive backs we may want to keep on as many as possible just in case. Especially safeties.

Thats the thing that makes the most sens to me!! Between Tart, Colbert, Ward.... 1 or 2 of them will DEFINITELY get injured. I would feel comfortable having Reid here than hoping fukking James, Jones, McCoil, Powell, or Reed will step up

shyt most of them probably not even gonna make the final 53 man roster. And whomever is the 50-53 man is a expendable to me if we can get Reid back. We got money, I dont wanna hear nothing about that and its not like he gonna be asking for $60 Mill a season the next 8 years.
