I used to be a woman beater myself. I used to choke the shyt out of this white girl on the playground when I was in elementary school, used to hit this other girl in middle school, hell I threw a phonebook at my sister head a few years ago but I changed. Ive never met a man who was a eomam abuser who went for counseling that stopped hitting their partner

This isnt that type of situation, if you hit a woman, drag her by the hair and tote illegal assault weapons, thats not a mistake that is more an indicator of your character

No one wanted to throw this guy away when he got busted for pot, or had to outrun a shoot out. Those are mistakes, bursting a womans eardrum is not a mistake, its a vicious act of abuse

You mention stuff you did as a child, there is a reason kids arent treated like adults im the legal system, so a kid hitting a girl on the playground is clearly not the same as a grown adult with a fully formed brain beating a woman until her eardrum ruptures

People get mad people get emotional it doesn't mean they are that person in the time of the emotion and not everybody can always control themselves in the heat of the moment. It happens.
Chronic abusers and 1 time abuser ain't the same in my book. In your golden book of hardline rules it might be but I understand that we all animals at the core no matter how well we voice our communication and use our thumbs.

Sherm just got to this team and already doing veteran leadership thangs...I pray hes healthy because I KNOW his motivation on the field will be through the roof

Imagine if we had Sherm and Reid as leaders on the field?

Now I don’t know what to make of that one year offer deal. But if we really want to have our team portrayed as a team of good men with strong leadership.

We gotta stop playing and resign him to a multi year deal.

Let’s let this play out and see what happens. If we just cut him outright the only thing that’s gonna happen is the Seahawks pick him up and he flies straight for the rest of his career with no issues and he’s a terror we’d have to face 2 times a year.

Then in 4-6 years we gonna look back at why didn’t we keep him.

Reuben Foster is going to have to go. I know it stings because of his talent level and what we have invested in him but at the same time its not this was an argument that went too far. But based on the details he severly beat her and injured her badly and then tried to intimidate her into not calling the police. We gotts stop condoning bad behavior just because a guy can run fast or hit hard. Also another team is not going to touch him with a 10 foot pole this is toxic.
