No doubt it was a weak draft for OTs. Regardless though so yall saying they didnt field calls because they owed it as a favor to Beli. (In which you saying you believe they could have gotten a 2) Im just saying thats quite a far fetched ass story to come up with.

And he’s 30 years old

Brown is 25

And the first round pick is 24

:snoop:

This tackle class sucks but McGlinchey is by far the best of them. He can start right away. We still need draft another one maybe in the 4th round. Hopefully an Orlando Brown falls down that far but he's a Trent Brown clone and Lynch doesn't have the balls to pick him.

Hopefully we’re done with olineman unless it’s a guard, the ot class sucks.

Plenty of talent left at cb and wr

I bet tartt is happy, he might even get a extension before the season

A second would of been better but we owed them for Jimmy

We don't owe them shyt

Yea.... we don’t owe no one shyt.... especially the Pats.

It’s not our fault they are going through a Civil War and we came up as a result of Beli being petty:hubie:

The point is that we used the #9 pick to swap a questionable tackle (not even sure he's a better tackle than Brown)

And it's a pretty terrible way to use the 9 overall pick. To think if we were only 3 spots higher we could've gotten Nelson :sadcam:

I think we had to pick a tackle regardless and with most of the player we wanted off the board it was an area of need. McGlinchey was a safe if not sexy pick.

why?
Trent is a well-regarded tackle in the league

Why did we have to pick a tackle this high in a bad tackle class? Makes no sense to me.

We have other holes that need help right now. A tackle would be a future pick. A tackle that can't play LT is not even a future pick, as well have to get another tackle when Staley retires (and Brown actually could play LT)

Oh no I agree with that totally. Trent Browns skillset is better suited for left tackle. In a perfect I would have liked to extend Brown then draft a tackle then once Staley retires have Trent slide left and draft pick take over at right. As I think about Lynch and Shanny are too obsessed with system and not enough on talent. Actually real talk we shoild have held on to John Theus last year.
