Well, Atlantic gave Lupe a bunch of songs. So, it's plausible...
It's one thing to have multiple writers, it's another when nikkas penning your every word and telling you how to flow and all the cadences

no it's not... because to what degree somebody wrote for someone else we'll never know. We just happen to know for sure in this particular situation (and others, but over the 25 year history of rap people may have turned a blindeye or have a short memory span)... but that doesn't change the course of history in regards to people writing lyrics for someone else. Always has been and always will be.

Which is why I low-key respect Bruno Mars' career. He was on the shelf at Motown but then he and his camp (The Smeezingtons) got signed to Atlantic to write/produce songs for others. They wrote Right-Round for Flo-Rida and fukk You for Ceelo, along with "Nothing On You" which Atlantic originally gave to Lupe and "Billionaire" went to Travie McCoy, and Bruno blew up off the strength of his vocals being left on those two.
B.o.B's entire career is owed to Lupe's problem with Atlantic. "Nothing On You" and "Airplanes" were both for Lupe. shyt, Hayley Williams wasn't even the original chick on Airplanes, it was this chick Christine Dominguez who is deep on the shelf on at Atlantic who wrote it. Hayley Williams is part of Paramore, which is signed to Fueled by Ramen, which is distributed by Atlantic. The same situation as Travie McCoy.
The B.o.B album (and Bruno Mars' career) was really when I truly understood just how the industry works nowadays. Nothing has surprised me since. Anyone that doesn't know/believe how this shyt works just needs to peep that.
