Idk RJ would drive from the left, Okoro from the right. If they get FVV and say a PF like Love or Horford to help with spacing I think they could co-exist.

Also Thibs doesn’t care about spacing, not the way most the league does.

Hell it doesn’t even need to work this year (and I legit think they just need to be bad 1 more year to have assets for a decade....), but I’d say in a year or two they can become reasonably decent 3pt shooters this makes sense.

What they do with 26 and 27 would decide. Maxey's the player that I have the hardest time placing in this damned class. He doesn't do anything that I don't like but he also doesn't have anything that jumps off the screen and says "this is what makes him effective as a pro."

It's kinda similar to what you said about Okoro though. If they pick Maxey, I'm guessing it's because Payne fought hard for him which is a good sign in my book.

I legit think you take the best talent available. Next year is a “development” year, play the youth heavy, collect assets, and try to grab one of those really talented Wings/PF to put on this team next year. I’m telling ya’ll next year’s draft is the draft to try and get a star to put next to Mitch and RJ.
Looking at the tape I like Okoro better than Haliburton, Vassell, or Nasmith.







grab him and let a combination of Okoro, Frank, and Mitch carry the defense. RJ can develop as a star and if you get FVV and Love/Horford they can carry their share of the scoring load as well. Maybe kick the tires on Knox and DSJ and draft one of those potentially star wings next year and this team will be better off than it’s been for the last two decades
