BJ might not even go top 10 next year. fukk around knicks could come up with him and a whole other player like Kuminga or Greg Brown.... and then 2022 is the double draft where HS kids can join it so the talent pool in theory is twice as deep.

My power rankings for Knicks addressing PG:
1. Draft Hayes or Lewis at 8 and sign a cheap vet to back him up on a 1+1 (Augustin and Thibs work well together)

This should be the only thought process honestly..draft a pg..move up if you have to and sign a back up vet

I've got an offseason piece I put together for a Knicks blog where I put it like this...The PG role is gonna be the most important one this offseason and if Rose thinks CP3 or FVV are the answer, then I don't hate it. He should swing hard on addressing the position. But I close that by flat out saying that Kira and Augustin would be my goal. I think that's the way to move.

He will be, but I've seen him listed mid-late lotto which just goes to show why so many GM's are treating all 2021 first rounders like gold they need to horde. I get some Ingram vibes tbh but that's a very high bar for a prospect to try to match.

Yeah a young PG learning from a vet to me is the answer for you guys. Tying up cap in cp3 and van fleet(hes a compliment not a lead imo) doesn't make sense and kills flexibility for building a foundation. Russ shouldnt even be a thought.
You get cp3 for a few yrs then what? Should be focused on building a new identity around a young core and using the cap wisely.

I think if he proves to be a better shooter than Ingram was coming out of college than he’s a no brainer. If BI could just hit consistent threes while he developed his body, he’d probably still be a laker.
